Are you ready for Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the entire holiday season?

We have clients who have been prepping for months for this time.

But just in case you haven't gotten started, don’t worry.

Here are some tips you can put into action right now when creating your ads.

  1. Make sure the objective of your ad is not set to branding. Otherwise, they are much more selective about who sees the ads. It's great that somebody will recall your ad in the future. But let's make sales now.

  1. Raise your frequency cap. You have a small window of opportunity to make sales. It’s ok if they see your ads a few times. Seize the day.

  1. Raise your budget. Before the turkey coma hits, people are ready to buy. Make sure you raise your budget in anticipation of the higher volume. Nothing feels as bad as finding out your sales fell victim to a turkey coma only 4 hours into the day.

  1. Raise your bid. This one is hard for people to do. It feels painful. You are used to seeing your bid at a certain amount, and it worked fine. So why should you raise it? Simply because it is a live auction for clicks and your competition is planning on eating your lunch. Plus, people are going to buy X number of things before they move onto the next item.

  1. Let the world know it is a Black Friday sale. This is where you shout it loud. Let them know it's a deal they don’t normally get it. That’s why it's a sale. Make it a limited time offer and give crazy discounts.

  1. Make sure your upsells and cross-sells are working. This is where you will make the most of your money. It's your job to make the Average Cart Value as high as possible. Make sure the upsells and cross-sells are working on mobile, tablet, and desktop. Go as far as testing in each browser.

This should be a good start to help kick your Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales into high gear.
